Happy Summer Everyone! Hope this finds you all well. After a short break, we will begin our new Yoga series on July 12th. This month we’ll be focusing on a more traditional Hatha Yoga practice. While we’ll begin with sun salutations, we’ll put our vinyasas aside for a few weeks to focus more on specific asanas (poses). This practice, while slower moving than a vinyasa or flowing class, will be strengthening and powerful in a different way. We’ll hold poses for a little longer (that means Warrior poses, too) to really allow for insight into how the body, heart and mind work together and benefit from our Yoga. We’ll explore the subtle balance between strengthening and toning the body and relaxing into the stretch. All of the work we do physically provides a unique insight into our emotional relationship with ourselves, our bodies, our choices and our life.
As always, class will be well-rounded and will include breath-work (pranayama) and meditation.
This four class series is $48 pre-paid. Please know that if you would like to attend even one class, we’d be glad to have you, though coming for the whole series has a slew of benefits and we’d love to see you for the whole month. Classes will be held July 19th, 26th, August 2nd and 9th.
