Yoga

As a Yoga teacher, I focus on alignment and consciousness of each pose while tapping in to the fluid movements of the body, mind and breath in unison. Even amongst the deep breathing and flowing movements, I remain dedicated to hel
ping each student find the heart of their own practice, returning again and again to observation and acceptance. Yoga is an invaluable practice. Far more than a physical workout, it is both a window into our relationship with the world and an opportunity to develop clarity, compassion, balance, vitality and strength.

Ongoing Classes

I currently teach a 4 week session series class each Monday from 5:30 to 6:45 at my small studio space on East Burnside in Portland. Pre-registration is required. For more information check out my blog page for posts about upcoming series themes. Or you can drop me an email or give me a call.

Private
In addition, I offer private and couples Yoga for anyone with any physical ability. I love this private work as it gives me and my client time and space to go deeper into a very personal practice. With couples, it often opens up a window into how communication happens, with or without words and illuminates such relationship dynamics as support, fear, love, tension and tenderness.

Prenatal/Postnatal
Since having my daughter in 2007, I’ve also been joyfully teaching prenatal and postnatal classes, though no classes are currently being offered. I do this work with individuals and couples and focus on childbirth preparation and skills that will aid in postpartum adjustment as well.
